If you are finding yourself a little more stressed than usual, during this quarantine, allow yourself to be soothed by the power of the ocean. The constant lapping waves activate your parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for allowing one to relax and feel more engaged. Here is a 10 Minutes Ocean Waves Guided Meditation to help inspire you to "go with the flow" this week. It features breath meditation and sound awareness.
Personally, I find myself drawn to the ocean as a form of renewal and inner tranquility. Living in San Diego, I am blessed to have some beautiful beaches as my backyard and I often try to walk along the soft sand, at the end of a long day. This is one of the ways in which I am able to restore my creative energy. What are some other ways in which you find a moment of peace throughout your day? Is ocean meditation something you can see yourself incorporating into your quarantine routine?
